Hi friends, this is my last entry on this NGO blog. The goal was to make conscious the huge work daily given by people through so many Civil Societies and other groups, with their projects and all their engaged work for this humanity.
I will now slowly reduce my participation on the other blogs, meanwhile have a good, sunny summertime. Heidi.

Fêtes de Genève

Cette année du 4 au 13 août 2011 (et les pré-fêtes du 21 juillet au 12 août).

Avec près de 200 spectacles et concerts tous gratuits, le programme des Fêtes de Genève offre encore cette année au public un éventail artistique très varié. Tous les soirs, dès le 21 juillet, la scène des Clubs accueillera des groupes musicaux et des DJs. A partir du 4 août d’éblouissants ensembles musicaux se produiront chaque soir sur l’ensemble des quatre scènes des Fêtes de Genève. Du 4 au 14 août, au cœur du Jardin Anglais, le Village de l’Inde, pays hôte d’honneur des Fêtes de Genève, nous éblouira en exposant ses richesses, ses traditions, son artisanat, sa gastronomie. Chaque soir, la Scène des Clubs au Jardin Anglais proposera en lever de rideau des spectacles musicaux et dansants du folklore indien. (Programme /2011).

Genesis Women’s Shelter GWS

After years of operating Austin Street Centre, a homeless shelter in Dallas, TX, Shelter Ministries of Dallas became aware of the unique needs and vulnerabilities of abused women and children seeking their services. In January 1985, Shelter Ministries of Dallas began operating Genesis Women’s Shelter as a safe haven for these victims of domestic violence.
