  • To function at grass –root level for disabled people, initiating action in this area as well as development and delivery of appropriate information for the disabled person.
  • Promote multi disciplinary collaboration amongst NGOs, individuals, government and international agencies working on the issues and policies concerning the disability issue.
  • To create awareness about disability issues through targeted campaigns, research and possible interventions with making linkages with other system around us.
  • To support the grass root programs for the prevention of the disability.
  • Publicizing and keeping the concerns of the disabled in public fora.
  • To advocate rights of the disabled. (Objectives).

About: Education and Economic Development Society (EEDS), a voluntary, Non Profit, non-governmental organization was established in 2003 as a Registered society under the societies registration Act, 1860.   

EEDS is dedicated to conducting research and action programs to Promote social justice and equality for the under privileged and disadvantaged sections especially physically challenged persons of the society. We hope to create a safe and enabling environment where disabled people lead a happy and healthy life like able-bodied people.

Our Vision: EEDS envisages a healthy Indian society, which is self reliant, Equitable and sustainable environmentally sound and social justice with equal human rights and Opportunities for all.

Our Mission: EEDS mission is to enable the under privileged and disadvantaged people to live independent and dignified life by creating a Productive equitable and sustainable environment through the involvement of concerned stakeholders..
