Samarpan Care Awareness & Rehabilitation Center

an organzation working for humanity

We are a Young, independent, progressive organization committed to radical change towards a better world since 1999. Organization is neither profit making nor political in nature. The organization is working parallel with the Millennium Development Goals MDGs which are the world’s time-bound and quantified targets for addressing extreme poverty in its many dimensions-income poverty, hunger, disease, lack of adequate shelter, and exclusion-while promoting gender equality, education, and environmental sustainability … (about 1/2).

About 2/2: … They are also basic human rights-the rights of each person on the planet to health, education, shelter, and security.

Prime focus of the organization in the present situation is to target “Human Capital”, because people’s health and ability to work, and the knowledge and skills they have acquired, over generations of experience and observation, constitute their human capital. Education can help to improve people’s capacity to use existing assets better and create new assets and opportunities.

At Samarpan we organize workers, inmates and other beneficiaries to achieve their goals of full employment and self reliance through the strategy of struggle and development. The struggle is against the many constraints and limitations imposed on them by society and the economy, while development activities strengthen them with new alternatives.

Samarpan is marching on a clear and engaging vision, mission and values with:

  • Strong leadership, governance and management
  • Strong program development and implementation
  • Connection to an involved constituency
  • A commitment to developing its people
  • A diverse funding base and strong financial management
